Travelling from India to Germany [Covid 19 edition]

First of all, I want to mention that the covid-situation in India is super messed up right now.

At the moment there are different types of coronavirus mutations have found in India and because of that, many countries are implementing tightened travel restrictions regarding the travel from and to India.

This article will be useful to the people with Residence Permit or German Passport because right now only those are allowed to travel to Germany.

You need a Covid negative test result with the swab time not exceeding 48 hours before entering in Germany. This can be challenging because right now it is hard to get your test results within 48 hours in some places in India.

Below are the steps to travel:

After coming to Germany, 14 days quarantine is mandatory[without any exemptions] because India is declared a ‘virus variant area’.
